Site Manager
South West
A fantastic opportunity for a Site Manager to join the residential housebuilding division of a multi-disciplinary contractor as they embark on new projects throughout the South West region!
THE COMPANY
My client are a national, multi-disciplinary civil engineering and construction contractor, who have achieved over £25million turnover since opening its doors just 8 years ago. From rail to highways and residential build, my client pride themselves as creating a strong tight-knit culture like no other as well as putting quality of delivery first in every single project, no matter how difficult!
It’s an incredibly exciting time to join this company as they undergo a massive growth period, and due to them venturing into exciting new territories, they are looking for a team of Site Managers to join the Wales & South West region working on housebuilding projects!
IDEAL CANDIDATE
So, what would make you ideal for this role? Obviously, experience is important so you must be familiar working on new build residential sites working for National or Regional Housebuilders. However, what will set you ahead of the rest is how you fit in with the business from a cultural and attitude perspective.
As they have invested in creating a Wales and South West Region, you must be chomping at the bit to make a name for yourself within the business and invest in them to enable them to achieve their strategic goals. They have quite an ambitious turnover target for the region however they whole-heartedly believe that if they get people on board who can just slot into the role and go above and beyond to build the team and win more work, then the sky is the limit for what they can achieve!
So, if you’re someone looking to just plod along, then this isn’t for you. However, if you’re looking for more recognition, development opportunities and accountability, then this is an opportunity you should not miss out on!
ABOUT THE JOB
As an experienced Site Manager, you will know the responsibilities inside-out. From dealing with NHBC directly and organising site inspections, to liaising with the sales team throughout the process, managing subcontractors and managing the site cost, your role will be like-for-like with what you’re doing now.
What makes this different is this role will soon progress to a Project Manager position, as they’re expecting sites to triple in size by the time they have completed, as well as new sites opening on a bi-monthly basis!
You are in the driving seat of your career with my client, so if you’re reading this thinking this is exactly what you’re looking for, you should apply now!
REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for the Site Manager role, you must have experience working on a new build residential site. It’d be preferable if you had a NVQ Level 6 in any construction discipline, however as a minimum you would need a CSCS Black card. You must also have a full UK driving licence.
PACKAGE
For this Site Manager position, the client is offering a generous basic salary of £45k - £50k depending on your experience, plus annual bonus, company car/car allowance and all the bells and whistles to be expected of a company of this size.
