T&C Manager; Qatar

My major Rail Engineering client are looking to employ a railway Testing and Commissioning Manager to work in Qatar. This role requires a Degree qualified candidate with over 15 years experience in Railway projects specialising in the field of Testing and Commissioning.

Job Functions;

The Testing & Commissioning Manager has to cover the testing and commissioning items during the construction, testing and commissioning phases of the project.

The Testing and Commissioning Manager has to manage all testing & commissioning interfaces and aspects of system.
Monitor the commissioning, system integration, and final acceptance
Review the Design-Build Contractor in the provision of all technical O&M resources that are necessary to operate and maintain the system with the required level of service and with the required performances.
Monitor the trial run period in responsibility of the operator.
He has to manage Testing & Commissioning meetings and occasionally attend at management meetings.

Requirements to apply;

University Degree qualified in Engineering discipline.
Experience in metro / railway systems, equipment, and implementation.
Expertise in the testing & commissioning of railway systems.
Experience of large programmes projects.
Excellent communication skills & the ability to interface with internal design teams & clients alike.
Sound report writing skills.
