A Major Railway Telecommunications Contractor is seeking a national Installation Manager to join its West Midlands based team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the leading railway telecoms installations contractors. To be considered for this role you must have experience of leading a team of Site managers. You have previous experience of Design within a railway environment with knowledge of the SISS Comm s including, but not limited to; CCTV, CIS, PA and PHP. You must have previous experience working on Network Rail Projects and have an excellent understanding of NWR policies and procedures.

Job Over view
To lead and oversee site management in the successful delivery of all site works in a manner that ensures both safety and commercial success are not compromised.
Site managers to ensure all site works are performed as efficiently and safely as possible ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
To lead, inspire and mentor site managers, field staff and delivery teams
To lead and support, as required, to delivery partners in their efforts to support project deliverables
Office and site-based work, ensuring project delivery is in line with agreed resource plans, client programmes, business budgets and customer requirements.
The Installation Manager will have a clear technical and commercial understanding of the Project deliverables for all projects delivered by the site management resource under their direct control

Qualifications Required
Network Rail PTS COSS/SWL
IOSH Managing Safely
CSCS
MIN NVQ level 3
Natural leadership characteristics
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to bring together diverse groups
Understanding of Railway telecoms installation & testing practices
Strong technical and / or engineering background
First Aid at Work
