A major client to us is in need of an experienced Emergency Planning Manager, to review, develop and implement emergency strategies and procedures for potential accidents involving Trains / Rolling Stock and Light Transit Passenger Vehicles. Needed for this role is the full experience and appreciation of working within UK Rail, Train Operation companies and or Light Transit Passenger Systems.

This Emergency Planning Manager will ideally possess the following:

• UK Rail and Light Transit experience with strong Safety Critical and H&S working appreciation
• Strong proven abilities in compiling credible Plans for Train Accident Prevention and creating Train Accident Reactive plans
• Strong working experience in the investigation of Root Cause Analysis, Rick Management, Accident and Incident Prevention, including Accident Investigation (perhaps as a Subject Matter Specialist)!
• Experience of working with TOC s, Clients and Key Stakeholders
• The ability to portray findings and implement plans and corrective procedures with confidence, being able to communicate and present effectively to all levels

As stated, this is an Urgent Interim, for an initial 3 months duration, our client is open to offering extensions thereafter, dependent of experience and stability.

This is a superb opportunity for an experienced Emergency Planning Manager / Subject Matter Specialist / Accident and Incident Prevention Planner to get heavily involved with a fundamental new Light Transit System development.
