A leading consultancy firm are seeking an experienced P6 Planner to join their well established planning and project controls team in London. You will be working alongside industry leading professionals on a variety of major projects.
Responsibilities:
* Create and maintain project schedules that support and align with project requirements.
* Compiling cost and resource forecast data
* Create and Manage numerous Work Breakdown Structure(WBS) In Primavera P6
* Analyse critical path and constraints to determine effect of changes to schedule and recommend work-around.
* Have a sound knowledge of the NEC contract processes for management of schedule data and submissions.
* Monitor and consolidate the overall project plans.
* Perform project related reporting to the Project team and management on a monthly basis to ensure that the project stays on time and within budget.
* Provide a clear, visible, accurate and transparent account of the project critical path analysis.
Requirements:
* Hold a relevant degree within Engineering or Science
* Have a solid proven experience working on large projects within Rail, Infrastructure, Utilities, Aviation, Highways or Civils or Buildings
* Be knowledgeable of working with Primavera P6 and capability to create Plans from scratch
* Have an understanding of Risk management
* Posses excellent report writing and presentation skills
* Knowledgeable of working with NEC contracts
* Experienced or knowledgeable of resourcing, progress measurement, Earned Value Analysis, completion forecasting and status reporting.
