We have a new opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to be a Safe Work Planner / SPICOP to join Bridgeway Consulting Ltd.

Role Purpose:

To compile Safe Work Packs, Line Blockages and safety critical site packs for Access Services / Possession Management contracts in accordance with the Network Rail 019 standard. You will also be required to conduct safety critical duties when required ranging from PSS through to SPICOP.

Key Accountabilities:

The role will involve, but is not limited to the following:-

• Liaising with the Client to ensure that all possessions that require a (Safe Work Pack) SWP or Line Blockage are captured
• Build and issue SWP’s for all identified safety critical duties
• Ensure that all SWP and Line Blockage documentation are logged and returned to the office
• Check all documentation prior to issue to safety critical staff
• Arrange Line Blockages as appropriate and any associated access arrangements for Access Services / Possession Management contracts
• Ensure that all ‘verification and validation’ processes, to check and issue SWP’s and Line blockages are complied with prior to being dispatched from the office.
• Update all packs with the latest version of the Hazard Directory, Sectional Appendix and Signal Line Diagrams.
• Where feedback is received from staff on the ground, packs are to be updated with the latest access information. Any ‘new information’ must be cross checked to ensure the revised information is correct and consistent with Network Rail Controlled Documents (Hazard Directory, Sectional Appendix & Line diagrams). Where a discrepancy is identified, these are highlighted to your Responsible Manager and the client for resolution
• Undertake Safety Critical duties in line with competencies held and certification gained
• Undertake other duties in accordance with the requirements of the company
