Are you a Planner with strong experience in the Rail sector? Are you looking for a long term appointment where you can really grow with a big rail contractor? Are you based in or around the York area?
Our client are a successful, national rail contractor currently looking for a Planning to work in their Yorkshire office for a long term contract - initially temporary but then going permanent after a period of 3 months. The role is to develop project plans from scratch and to work with the design and production teams in the implementation of these. Extensive experience in a similar planning role is essential, as is a strong background in working in the engineering side of rail planning.
The successful applicant will be fully competent is P6 and able to build a fully resourced and cost loaded programme utilising appropriate coding systems as well as standardised layouts. There will be developing management progress reports, producing design and production programmes from frist principls and introducing change scenaros and recovery and acceleration programmes.
The role will be adding to an already high performing team and as such our applicants will need to be dynamic, hardworking and able to work autonomously when required.
