SPL Powerlines – Supply Chain Administrator

SPL Powerlines Group is delivering some of the largest and complex overhead line projects for Network Rail, due to increased workloads we are looking to recruit a Supply Chain Administrator-systems, to join our team in Derby.

Job Description

The processing of material orders, updating materials trackers and materials expediting

The processing of subcontractor orders, subcontractor order uplifts, updating subcontract trackers

Facilitating and arranging eAuctions on behalf the wider supply chain team

Maintain the supplier accreditation system, ensuring new suppliers and renewals are

accredited in a timely manner.

Supplier Performance reports

Running system reports

Data Analysis

Requisition Management

Supplier Liaison

Assist with requesting quotations from suppliers

Minimum Requirements

• Experience specifically within a supply chain environment
• Computer literacy including various software programs
• Willingness to travel and to learn and open minded for new technologies
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team and support as required
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Full driving licence and vehicle
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• The ability to stay calm and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• IT qualifications

• GCSE Math’s and English or equivalent
