Facilities and Tooling Controller

Location: East Midlands

Ten Live Rail have been engaged by a local client to source a Facilities and Tooling controller, on a permanent basis - based at their Derby facility.

As the Facilities and Tooling controller, you will be required to contribute to the overall targets and goals of the company, by ensuring the plant, equipment, tooling, site services, and buildings facilities are used effectively and therefore optimised for delivery against ROI.

You will also be responsible for devising new process and procedures - again, to maximise profitability of the site and deliver best ROI.

This individual will be part of a management team and be required to act upon their own initiative when required.

You will be responsible for the site tooling inventory and facility use, and be well versed in terms of compliance for Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality procedures.

Person requirements:

o Experience of engineering and manufacturing within the Rolling Stock industry
o A track record in facilities management
o Knowledge of tools and their capabilities and cost
o Experience of managing multi-disciplined specialist engineering teams and their tooling expectations
o A base understanding of continuous improvement and ROI
