Purpose of the Job
To maintain Parts Catalogues for Rolling Stock and Services projects typically Northern Line Trains
Responsibilities
To use physical train parts and identify where they are fitted on the train to allow meaningful insertion into the parts catalogue.
Prepare and update parts catalogues for the clients RS & S projects.
Communicate with engineers & suppliers regarding parts specification.
Review modifications and supplier documentation for impact on parts catalogues.
Create, update and maintain databases and spreadsheets as required.
Generate progress reports.
Educational Requirements
ONC or above or relevant experience.
Desired Knowledge and Experience
Knowledge of London Underground Trains
Good communication skills, general technical knowledge, good IT skills.
Experience of using Ms Word and Excel essential.
Experience of using Photoshop or similar graphics program desirable.
