Job title: Driver Manager - Mainline Competent
Job location: West Midlands
Salary: Circa £50k plus excellent benefits
The Role
We require an experienced driver manager to join the transport operations team for a leading rail company. You will manage a team of regional train drivers ensuring compliance to regulatory standards, managing investigations, managing driver competencies, reporting and any other requisite checks to fully manage driver & standards compliance and ensure the delivery of an efficient and safe service.
You must be a current competent mainline driver and freight or heavy haulage experience is preferred.
Person Profile
It is absolutely essential that you are a fully competent mainline driver with up to date certificates. You must also be able to pass medical & drugs and alcohol tests.
You must have previous management experience within operations / train crew which includes driver standards & investigations work.
Essential
*Previous mainline experience.
*In date mainline driving competence.
Desirable
*3 + years' experience within passenger or freight.
*Safety conscious, reliable & a team player.
