Job title: Qualified Mainline Drivers
Job location: South East (Essex, East Anglia)
Salary: Circa £45-50k

We require an experienced competent train driver who has an existing licence, strong understanding of rail operations and a good safety record to take up posts within a busy operating company.

Full route and traction training will be provided for the position.

Person Profile

It is absolutely essential that you hold a UK or EU drivers licence for any class or train or shunter.

You must also be able to pass medical & drugs and alcohol tests and CRB/DBS check.

Age restrictions apply due to union agreed safety measures and compulsory retirement in place. All applicants therefore must be under 59 years of age to be considered for permanent employment in these roles.

Essential
*Previous driving experience any class of train (not OTM or LRV)
*Can demonstrate a strong safety record which is not currently under investigation and able to transfer to new employment

Desirable
*3 + years' experience within rail operations
*Safety conscious, reliable & a team player.

YOU MUST HAVE A PRE-EXISTING RIGHT TO LIVE AND WORK IN THE UK AND HAVE INDEPENDENT PHYSICAL PRESENCE IN THE UK FOR INTERVIEW
NO VISA SPONSORSHIP IS AVAILABLE. NO TRAINING TO OBTAIN A LICENCE IS AVAILABLE - ONLY ADDITIONAL TRACTION & ROUTE KNOWLEDGE TRAINING FOR EXISTING DRIVERS.
