Job title: Train Driver - Mainline Competent

The Role

We require a number of qualified mainline drivers to join the team across depots within the North West of England. Multiple locations are available to cover the northwest routes and full route training will be provided.

Person Profile

It is absolutely essential that you are a fully competent mainline driver with up to date certificates. You must also be able to pass driver psychometric testing, medical & drugs and alcohol tests.

Essential
*Previous mainline experience.
*In date mainline driving competence.

Desirable
*3 + years' experience within passenger or freight.
*Safety conscious, reliable & a team player.

We strictly cannot accept applications from candidates who lack current UK mainline competence. Only route training is provided, we cannot accept applicants who require further training or certification for mainline driving in the UK. This automatically discounts drivers who only have experience in light rail, underground systems, shunting, depot operations, test track etc. Those who only hold overseas qualifications/competencies and those whose UK mainline competency has expired will also be discounted.
