Qualified Train Drivers – Maintenance Trains
£Competitive + benefits + opportunities for overtime
Flexible 12-hour shifts
Looking after tracks, rather than passengers, you’ll help to keep rail services running smoothly by making sure train tracks are well maintained and clear of debris. Join us as we help to create tomorrow’s railway today and help to improve daily train journeys and the lives of thousands of people in your area.
Using a wide range of equipment, you’ll remove leaves from the line with high-pressure water jets in the autumn, make minor track repairs in the summer and de-ice and prevent tracks from freezing in the winter. Ideally with some knowledge of the local route circuits you’ll drive, you should be a good communicator with a real passion for safety.
A leading name in rail infrastructure, we offer flexible shift patterns to suit your lifestyle and lots of opportunities to work overtime. So, join a close-knit team that helps to keep tracks clear 24/7 and enjoy the chance to work flexibly and pick up extra hours.
