Ganymede Solutions are currently working with a recognised leader in the rolling stock / railway sector who has operations across four railway franchises within the UK and has an ever-growing presence within the industry.

The Candidate:

Are you an experienced Train Planner within the Rolling Stock / Railway sector and looking for your next challenge? Awesome, look no further as we have a fantastic opportunity to work with one of the UK’s leading TOC’s on their train planning team which is a key aspect of their daily operation.

The Role:

Up for a challenge? Great, lets tell you about the role! Your main responsibilities will be to work largely on roster plans and timetables to ensure diagrams are delivered for Train Drivers and Conductors are in place for the daily running operation of the trains. Other key aspects of the role can involve planning new routes, timetable changes and replacement services.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role you will be able to demonstrate quality experience Train Planner within the Rolling Stock / Railway sector where you would have used software such as “Voyagerplan” on a regular basis to create rosters, timetables and diagrams for train crew staff. You will be a great team player, clear communicator, positive attitude with a willingness to take on new training of the software from the company.

Our client is interviewing in the coming weeks with a view to hiring before Christmas for a new year start!

Rate of Pay: Up to £250 per day
