We are looking for a highly skilled Site Agent with a robust background in managing projects for Scottish Power Energy Networks (SPEN). This role is situated in a busy and fast-paced project and maintenance environment where you will oversee a variety of multi-disciplinary civil engineering/electrical projects.
The wider regional team is also responsible for delivering infrastructure projects and maintenance works for a diverse portfolio of clients including Local Authorities, Network Rail, and Environmental Agencies.
The Role: As the Site Agent, you will be responsible for the daily management and successful delivery of engineering projects on behalf of Scottish Power &amp; Energy Networks, ensuring that they are executed on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards.

Experience at the Site Agent level in civil engineering contracting, particularly in energy and power-related infrastructure projects and maintenance.

Project Manager- Civils

Lead QS/Commercial Manager required for UK and Ireland. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Oversee the development and agreement of contractual terms and conditions with suppliers and subcontractors, in collaboration with the Project Manager as required.</li><li>Review, develop, and implement appropriate incentivisation arrangements.</li><li>Agree spend profiles aligned with the project programme and schedule.</li><li>Monitor and report performance against agreed spend profiles on a monthly basis.</li><li>Oversee the project change management process, working with relevant functions to assess the impact of changes and associated risks on overall project out-turn.</li><li>Manage the production of a consolidated, project-wide monthly cost and expenditure report.</li><li>Deliver robust and accurate CAPEX and OPEX forecasts for the project.</li><li>Oversee the procurement of project-related services, ensuring compliance with supply chain strategy, policies, and procedures.</li><li>Manage the administration of subcontract agreements supporting project delivery.</li><li>Oversee the monthly valuation process.</li><li>Lead the development of mitigation strategies for potential contractor and supplier claims, including adjudication and recommendations for settlement.</li><li>Oversee the agreement of final contractor accounts and the close-out of contractor contracts.</li><li>Oversee Construction Partner applications for payment and the submission and management of Early Warning Notices to the Project Manager.</li><li>Alternate weeks in London and Cork - 2-3 days per week &amp; the rest hybrid</li></ul> Technical Competencies<ul><li>Expert-level knowledge across all aspects of commercial management.</li><li>Strong working knowledge of a range of standard forms of contract.</li><li>Excellent understanding of integrated cost, programme, and performance reporting.</li><li>NEC Knowledge</li><li>Rail Signalling experience a must</li></ul>We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity in our company.
