These roles offer the opportunity to work on essential upgrades and renewals that help improve transport networks and enhance journeys for millions of people. Available Positions (PTS and Non PTS) We are currently recruiting for the following plant roles: - Excavator 360 (Above 10t) - Excavator 360 (Below 10t) - Excavator 360 (Below 10t) - Including Lift Operations - Forward Tipping Dumper Operator - PTS Excavator 360 (Above 10t) - Telehandler Operator - Telehandler Operator - Underslung Role Responsibilities Depending on the position, duties may include: - Operating plant machinery safely and efficiently on active construction and rail sites - Supporting excavation, lifting, material movement, and site preparation tasks - Ensuring adherence to safety standards and rail-specific operational requirements - Working collaboratively with site teams and supervisors - Completing tasks to a high standard to support project milestones Working Pattern These positions require a flexible approach to shifts. If you thrive in a fast-paced, safety-first environment and have a knack for hands-on engineering, this is your opportunity to make a real impact on the UK's transport network!
Positions Available:
<ul>
<li>Team Leader: Lead on-site PWAY operations, coordinate team activities, ensure compliance with safety protocols, and oversee track maintenance, renewals, and inspections. Ideal for experienced supervisors with strong leadership skills and a proven track record in rail engineering.</li>
<li>Controller of Site Safety (COSS): Take charge of site safety, conduct risk assessments, manage access to trackside areas, and enforce Network Rail standards. Must hold valid COSS certification and have expertise in safe systems of work.</li>
<li>PWAY Operatives: Hands-on roles involving track laying, ballast work, and general maintenance. Entry-level to experienced positions available – perfect for those with PTS &amp; TIC.</li>

What We're Looking For:

<li>Relevant rail industry qualifications (e.g., PTS, COSS, or equivalent).</li>
<li>Experience in PWAY maintenance, with knowledge of track geometry, switches, and crossings.</li>
<li>Commitment to health and safety – zero tolerance for shortcuts!</li>
<li>Ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends, in all weather conditions.</li>
<li>Team players with good communication skills and a positive attitude.</li>
