SITE ENGINEER – RAIL &amp; INFRASTRUCTURE – BUCKINGHAMSHIRE – FREELANCE&nbsp;Site Engineer required to join a huge infrastructure project in Buckinghamshire on a freelance basis.&nbsp; This contractor is currently undertaking work on a large-scale, complex infrastructure project and requires the services of a senior engineer to deliver a number of complex work packages.&nbsp; The ideal candidate will have a Civil Engineering degree, and previous experience of undertaking a Senior Site Engineer/Section Engineer role on a large infrastructure project.&nbsp;Requirements:<ul><li>Degree Qualified in Civil Engineering</li><li>Minimum of 3 years post qualified experience on Rail or civil infrastructure projects</li><li>Experience of Civil Engineering in a Rail environment</li><li>Setting Out and surveying skills</li><li>Excellent track record on large scale rail &amp; Metro projects</li><li>Excellent communication skills</li></ul>&nbsp;Duties:<ul><li>Setting out for Civils work in a Railway / Metro environment</li><li>Completing all QA</li><li>Assisting the Site agent and Site Management with Technical issues</li><li>Managing sub-contractors</li><li>Checking sub-contractors work</li></ul>&nbsp;Benefits package:<ul><li>Competitive day rate – INSIDE IR35 (Via Umbrella company)</li><li>Long term project – 3 years+</li><li>Development and progression opportunities</li></ul>

Senior Engineer

Rail Site Agent - North West - Permanent&nbsp;Rail Site Agent is currently required to join a leading railway &amp; civil engineering contractor, who are delivering several complex railway projects across the North West. &nbsp;The ideal candidate will have experience of undertaking the role of a Site Agent for a railway contractor previously and be familiar with the delivery of a railway project consisting of structure replacements and associated works.&nbsp;Requirements:<ul><li>Over 3 years experience of undertaking a similar role</li><li>Current &amp; Valid PTS</li><li>Excellent understanding of delivering rail and civil engineering projects, including structure replacements</li><li>Capable of overseeing all site based activities, including monitoring sub-contractors and operational staff</li></ul>&nbsp;The role:<ul><li>Delivery of large scale and complex rail projects</li><li>Reviewing design processes, assisting with programme management and managing sub-contract packages</li><li>Completing project paperwork such as WPP's, ITP's, Task Briefings</li><li>Working closely with the commercial team, planners and operational team to ensure effective delivery of the projects</li></ul>&nbsp;If you meet the criteria above, and would like to be considered for the role, please get in touch.
