We’re looking for a motivated and safety-focused Signalling Team Leader to manage and develop a high-performing team delivering critical inspection, faulting, maintenance and renewal activities across the railway.This is a hands-on, safety-critical role where no two days are the same — and where your leadership will make a real difference to railway safety, reliability and performance.<h4>What you’ll be doing</h4>Lead, motivate and organise a team to deliver work safely, efficiently and to the highest standardsPlan and direct inspection, faulting, maintenance and renewal activitiesEstablish and maintain robust safety arrangements and safe systems of workProactively manage quality, compliance and team competenceEnsure all vehicles, tools, plant, equipment and materials are fit for purposeProduce accurate and timely reports to support smooth operationsSet the standard by working hands-on alongside your teamThis role involves days, nights, weekends and on-call working.<h4>Essential criteria</h4>Proven experience organising and controlling the safe and efficient delivery of workStrong communication skills, both written and verbalSound knowledge of signalling maintenance, inspection, faulting and renewal techniquesWorking knowledge of relevant standards, procedures and instructions, includingNR/L3/SIG/10663NR/L3/SIG/11231A clear, confident and inspirational leadership styleValid IRSE Combined Signalling Maintainer &amp; Fault Finder Licence 1.4.230<h4>Desirable criteria</h4>NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline, or equivalent experienceAbility and willingness to drive vehicles as required by business needsPrevious experience in railway signalling, ideally in a team-leading role &nbsp;
