The Role

We're looking for an experienced CNC Turner who can confidently set, operate, and adjust machine tools to produce precision-engineered components to tight tolerances.

You'll be trusted to work from engineering drawings, maintain high-quality standards, and contribute to a team that prides itself on delivering first-class workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Turning machines
• Produce high-quality precision components to specification
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical instructions
• Carry out component inspections using micrometres, verniers, and gauges
• Monitor machining processes to ensure efficiency and quality

Essential

• CNC Turning experience
• Engineering apprenticeship or Level 3 engineering qualification
• Experience setting and operating machining equipment
• Knowledge of machining tolerances and precision engineering practices
• Competent with measuring and inspection equipment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Must be ok to travel to Doncaster for training

Desirable

• CNC programme editing experience
• Milling or grinding experience
