Construction Director – High Speed Rail (UAE)

A leading international contractor is recruiting a Construction Director to oversee the delivery of a major High-Speed Rail project in the UAE.

This is a senior site leadership position requiring extensive experience managing large-scale transportation construction works and multidisciplinary project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership of construction delivery activities.
• Manage contractors, subcontractors and project stakeholders.
• Ensure safe, efficient and timely execution of works.
• Drive construction strategy, sequencing and interface management.
• Oversee quality, budget and programme performance.
• Report directly to executive leadership and client representatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline (mandatory).
• 20+ years' experience within rail construction.
• Proven High-Speed Rail delivery experience.
• Strong background leading large transportation infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing major multidisciplinary construction teams.
• Excellent stakeholder, client and contractor management skills.
• Previous involvement in international HSR projects is essential.
