Electrical Mechanical Fitter - Rolling Stock Doors

Location: Acton, West London

Contract - Inside IR35

Ongoing during Central Line Improvement Programme

£31.01 + 16.59% AWR PAYE or £42 umbrella

Our client in the rail sector is looking to recruit an Electrical Mechanical Fitter for the doors section on Central Line Improvement Programme

You should have a level 3 qualification or equivalenmt in either an electrical or mechnical discipline.

Experience with doors either on rolling stock or platforms would be beneficial.

• Must be able to read and follow detailed work instructions and component assembly drawings, be familiar with general hand tools, bearing press and power tools.
• Must understand how to set and use a Torque Wrench and understand the principles of their use including witness marking.
• There will be a requirement for the use of overhead cranes and other workshop equipment for which training will be provided.
• Understand and be able to use basic measuring tools, Vernier, Micrometre and ruler.
