Network Rail High Speed Ltd. (NRHS) is responsible for operating and maintaining the UK's only international high-speed railway, High Speed (HS1).

The 109km HS1 infrastructure consists of a diverse range of railway assets such as the track, signalling, overhead line, lineside buildings, depots, viaducts and long tunnels. NRHS is also responsible for operating and maintaining three international stations; St Pancras, Ebbsfleet and Stratford International.

Salary: Infrastructure Maintainer 1 - 5 £31596 + Outer London Allowance £1600

About the role (External)

What You'll Do

🔧 Repair and maintain: Carry out essential track maintenance, inspections, and repairs to keep the network running safely.

🌍 Travel to sites: Work across different locations as maintenance needs arise.

🌦 Work outdoors: In all weather conditions, day or night—you'll help keep the railway safe and operational.

👀 Prioritise safety: Support safe working practices, including lookout duties and following all safety procedures.

🛠 Support the wider team: Assist with fault‑finding, inspections, and emergency repairs when required.
