The Role
Morson Vital have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Rail P6 Planner to support the planning, scheduling and reporting of UK rail infrastructure projects. You will play a key role in programme development, progress tracking and stakeholder reporting across multidisciplinary rail works.
This role suits a planner with strong Primavera P6 expertise and a solid understanding of Network Rail delivery environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and update Primavera P6 programmes for rail projects
- Produce baseline, target and updated schedules aligned to project milestones
- Progress tracking, critical path analysis and programme risk identification
- Support possession planning, access constraints and construction sequencing
- Prepare reports, dashboards and look-ahead schedules for clients and delivery teams
- Interface with Project Managers, Engineers, Commercial and Site teams
- Ensure programme compliance with Network Rail standards and governance
Essential Experience & Skills
- Proven experience as a Planner on UK rail projects
- Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6
- Understanding of Network Rail GRIP / PACE / CP7 environments
- Experience with possession planning and blockade constraints
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple programme inputs
