1. Power Supply & Traction Power Engineer
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Power Supply & Traction Power Engineer to support a major rail/metro system upgrade. The successful candidate will focus on traction power, system performance, and integration across key rail infrastructure packages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead traction power engineering activities including design review, validation, and compliance checks
- Provide technical input on power distribution, substations, OCS/third rail systems, and system energization
- Ensure all power supply deliverables align with rail safety regulations, electrical codes, and project standards
- Review and approve technical documents, drawings, and calculations
- Support onsite or client‑side coordination, resolving technical queries
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (systems, civil, track, signalling) to ensure seamless integration
- Conduct risk assessments, interface evaluations, and technical issue resolution
Requirements:
- Traction Power experience is essential
- Background in rail, metro, or heavy electrical infrastructure
- Knowledge of power distribution, protection systems, load flow, harmonic studies, or similar relevant areas
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and manage interfaces
- Must reside in Canada or hold valid work rights
2. Systems Design Manager
Overview:
We are hiring a Systems Design Manager to oversee multidisciplinary systems design across a complex rail/metro environment. This role includes technical leadership, coordination, and assurance activities to ensure all systems achieve operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate design activities across multiple rail systems (e.g., communications, power, signalling, SCADA, fire life safety, platform systems, etc.)
- Ensure technical compliance with design standards, safety requirements, and client specifications
- Review and approve system designs, interface documentation, and integration plans
- Lead design workshops, technical meetings, and engineering coordination sessions
- Oversee interface management between systems, civil works, and operations teams
- Identify risks, design gaps, and technical challenges; propose mitigation strategies
- Provide systemwide design governance and ensure alignment with project‑wide strategies
Requirements:
- Strong background in rail/metro systems engineering or systems design
- Experience leading multidisciplinary design teams
- Understanding of systems integration, verification & validation, RAMS, and safety requirements
- Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills
- Must reside in Canada or hold valid work rights
