Programme Director – High Speed Rail (MENA)

A major international contractor delivering some of the region's largest transportation programmes is seeking an experienced Programme Director to lead the delivery of a flagship High-Speed Rail project.

This is a senior leadership role requiring oversight of complex, multi-disciplinary rail packages from design through construction and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall delivery of a large-scale HSR programme.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams across engineering, construction, systems and project controls.
• Interface with clients, consultants, operators and key stakeholders.
• Drive programme performance, schedule, risk and budget objectives.
• Provide strategic leadership during all project phases.
• Support commercial, contractual and operational decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Transportation, Construction Management or a related discipline (mandatory)
• 20+ years' experience within major rail or transportation projects.
• Proven experience leading High-Speed Rail programmes.
• Background with major international rail organisations, contractors or system suppliers.
• Strong understanding of rail systems integration, construction and project delivery.
• Experience working on large, complex rail megaprojects.
