Location: South East London office + travel across South London & Anglia region
Salary: £75,000 - £90,000 per annum DOE + £6000 car allowance and up to 15% discretionary bonus scheme

Due to continued growth, newly secured projects, and a strong pipeline of rail civils work, my client is looking to appoint a Project Manager to take ownership of delivering key infrastructure projects across Network Rail and local authority frameworks.
This includes works such as footbridge refurbishments, earth stabilisation, and wider civil engineering packages across the South East and Anglia regions. With a growing order book, this is a business-critical and urgent hire offering the opportunity to play a key role in both project delivery and future growth.
This role is ideal for a Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys ownership, and is confident leading projects from tender through to completion.
As Project Manager, your duties will include:
·Managing rail civil engineering projects from contract award through to completion and final account
·Delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget
·Supporting tendering activities including planning, methodology, and commercial input
·Preparing and managing Health & Safety Plans, Quality Plans, and Method Statements
·Ensuring compliance with client specifications and industry standards
·Monitoring and reporting weekly progress against programme and cost
·Managing NEC contracts including change control and early warnings
·Acting as the key client interface and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships
·Driving continuous improvement, productivity, and operational efficiency
Requirements:
·Experience as a Project Manager within rail civil engineering
·Strong background delivering civils projects (e.g. bridges, earthworks, structural works)
·Proven experience working with NEC contracts (ideally NEC4)
·Ability to plan, programme, and manage multiple projects effectively
·Degree, HND or equivalent in Civil Engineering or related discipline (preferred)
·Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
·Competent with planning tools such as Microsoft Project
·Full UK driving licence
