
Project Manager
Are you an experienced Project Manager with a strong background delivering civil engineering works on Network Rail infrastructure?
Do you have experience managing projects from inception through to completion under NEC contracts while leading multidisciplinary delivery teams?
Location: Bristol (covering projects across the Western Route)
Salary/Rate: £500 - £600/day DOE - Umbrella, Inside IR35
Duration: 6 month rolling contract
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join a tier one contractor, supporting the delivery of a portfolio of station improvement schemes across the Western Route.
The successful candidate will take ownership of multiple station and infrastructure projects. You'll be responsible for delivering projects safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards, while building strong relationships with Network Rail, supply chain partners and key stakeholders.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys managing projects from cradle to grave and thrives in a collaborative rail environment.
Essential Requirements:
·Previous experience as a Project Manager delivering Network Rail infrastructure projects
·Strong civil engineering background
·Proven experience delivering projects from inception through to handover
·Experience administering NEC Option A contracts
·Working knowledge of CEMAR
·Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
·PTS and CSCS
Key Responsibilities:
·Lead the successful delivery of multiple rail infrastructure projects from pre-construction through to completion
·Manage project programmes, budgets, risks and commercial performance
·Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with Network Rail standards
·Administer NEC Option A contracts and manage change through CEMAR
·Lead multidisciplinary delivery teams, subcontractors and supply chain partners
·Build and maintain strong relationships with Network Rail, designers and key stakeholders
·Monitor project progress, identify risks and implement mitigation measures
·Ensure high standards of quality, health & safety and environmental compliance
·Chair progress meetings and provide regular reporting to senior management
·Drive collaborative working and continuous improvement across the project team
