Cable Pullers (Fibre Optic) – Rail – Ongoing Work

We are currently recruiting experienced Cable Pullers to support ongoing rail infrastructure projects across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team delivering critical telecoms upgrades within the rail sector.

The Role

You will be responsible for the installation of fibre optic cabling in a live rail environment, ensuring all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Duties will include:

• Installation of fibre optic cable along the lineside
• Pulling cable through existing troughing routes and duct systems

Working across varied environments including:

Open Track

Stations

Structures

Level Crossings

• Handling high-value, sensitive fibre cabling with precision and care
• Adhering strictly to rail safety standards and site procedures

Key Requirements

• Proven experience pulling fibre optic or sensitive telecoms cabling
• Ability to handle and install cable carefully to avoid damage
• Valid PTS (Personal Track Safety)
• Relevant rail competencies and demonstrable trackside experience
• Experience working in live rail environments
• Strong team player with the ability to follow instructions and safety protocols
