Rail CEM

Are you a CEM with previous experience working on major projects? Are you looking for your next ongoing contract?
We are supporting a leading contractor delivering works on HS2, one of the UK's largest and most complex rail infrastructure schemes. This is an opportunity for an experienced CEM to step into a major project environment, replacing an existing contractor and providing strong engineering leadership across rail systems works.
Location: Old Oak Common, London
Working arrangements: Hybrid working, 1/2 day WFH
Rate: £550pd (inside IR35)
Duration: Ongoing
Responsibilities:
·Act as Contractors Engineering Manager (CEM) under NR/L2/RSE/02009
·Lead engineering assurance and integration across multidisciplinary rail packages
·Interface with HS2, principal contractors, designers and key stakeholders
·Oversee technical governance, design approvals and compliance
·Support delivery across complex, high-value infrastructure works
Requirements:
·Proven experience operating as a CEM on major rail infrastructure projects
·Strong background across multidisciplinary rail systems
·Experience on large-scale programmes (e.g. HS2 or comparable major projects)
·Must hold relevant CEM competence and rail project credentials
