Have you worked complex traction power and rail HV electrification projects from a design engineering background?

Rate: £500 per day outside IR35
Location: Chatham, Kent, 4 days in the office per week

I am working with a well-established rail engineering business that is looking to appoint a CEM with HV E&P Engineering background. This role will play a key part in delivering a long-term pipeline of electrification and power projects across the rail network.

This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of technically challenging HV infrastructure projects while working alongside a well-established delivery team including design engineers, test and commissioning specialists, and project managers.

Essential Requirements
- Minimum 8 years' experience within rail HV electrification and power (E&P) engineering
- Strong HV substation or traction power experience
- Experience operating in a CEM role
- Project engineering experience across rail infrastructure schemes
- Strong understanding of rail engineering standards and compliance requirements
- Experience managing multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously

Desirable Experience
- Chartered Engineer status (or working towards)
- Experience leading engineering teams or line management responsibilities
- Experience working for Tier 1 contractors or specialist traction power organisations
