The market leading infrastructure recruitment specialist is supporting with the appointment of a Rail Depot Equipment specialist for Depot facilities as part of an international team on a major Rail upgrade project in Manila.

Opportunity:

My client is a leading International consultancy firm who are providing Consultancy services including Construction Supervision of the Stations & Depot aspects of a major network upgrade project. The successful individual shall play a key role in the successful delivery of this high profile project.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Team Leader and Project Manager for smooth implementation of the Project.
• Lead the team for the success implementation of Depot Equipment project, include but not limited to time (schedule), quality, budget, shop drawings review, quantity, safety, contract, environment, etc.
• Ensure full and detailed permanent site records, which will include site correspondence, survey data, quality acceptance data, site diaries, measurement and certification, minutes of meetings, and records of all other contractually relevant matters.
• Receive, assess and approve the contractors' implementation work plans and programs.
• Assist the Employer in their requests and ad-hoc tasks.
• Attend the site inspection, stakeholder meeting as when required.
• Prepare monthly progress reports and quarterly progress reports
• Prepare a construction completion report, which will be a compilation and condensation of the data presented in regular monthly progress reports together with copies of as--built drawings.

Key requirements for the role:

• Minimum bachelor's degree in engineering
• Experience in railway, urban railway project
• Experience with ODA financing project
• Experience in this region or similar developing countries

Language:

Fluency in Written and spoken English is essential

Package:

The salary would be in the region of $8,000 to $10,000, Tax free with additional allowances for Accomodation, transport etc.
