Our client is a major international infrastructure contractor, operating as part of a joint venture delivering a strategic cross‑border freight rail project in the UAE. The works include large‑scale civil packages and complex integration with rail systems across multiple interfaces.

The Civils / Systems Interface Manager will sit within the civils delivery team and act as the focal point for managing interfaces between civil works and rail systems. This is a delivery‑focused role, supporting design coordination, construction sequencing, and readiness through to testing and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage interfaces between civil works and rail systems (track, power, signalling, depots, OCC/SCADA as applicable)
• Coordinate with civils package teams, systems contractors, and JV stakeholders
• Identify and mitigate interface risks relating to design, construction sequencing, access, and T&C readiness
• Support interface planning sessions, workshops, and issue resolution
• Act as a practical link between engineering, construction, and systems teams

Requirements

• Degree‑qualified (Engineering or relevant technical discipline)
• 15+ years’ experience on major rail or infrastructure projects
• Strong contractor or JV‑side background
• Civils‑led profile with solid exposure to rail systems interfaces
• Comfortable operating in a complex, multi‑stakeholder delivery environment
• Middle East experience beneficial
