Rail MEP Quantity Surveyor

Job Title: Project MEP Quantity Surveyor / Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor
Location: Cambridge - 4-5 days site based
Day Rate: £375-475/day Outside IR35 - Paid Ltd
Contract Length: 18 Months
This opportunity offers involvement on a major £20m MEP package within a high-profile railway building services project in Central Cambridge. The scheme has a strong electrical focus and requires a commercially focused QS / SQS capable of supporting project delivery within a live construction environment.
Key Responsibilities:
·Managing commercial activities across a major MEP package
·Supporting procurement, subcontract management, and CVRs
·Administering JCT contractual processes
·Managing variations, valuations, and final accounts
·Working closely with operational teams to support commercial performance
·Providing accurate cost reporting and commercial control throughout delivery
Requirements:
·Experience operating as a Project QS or Senior QS within MEP / Building Services
·Strong understanding of JCT contracts
·Strong commercial reporting and subcontract management skills
·Experience delivering projects through the full project lifecycle
·Railway building services experience preferred
