Rail Station Resident Engineer (Construction Supervision) - Philippines
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Civil Resident Engineer with strong experience of Construction of Stations (at Ground) to Supervise the Construction of a number of Stations on this new network being constructed in the Philippines. The role shall include liaising with all elements including Civil, Structures and E&M for stations up to 3 stories high.
The role shall be working for an International Consultancy firm on behalf of the end client.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the Construction of Stations
- Manage the Contractor
- Co-ordinate with other disciplines.
- Monitor and report progress
- Ensure that Safety Standards and Risks Assessments are carried out.
- Certify work carried out.
- Support the Project Director and work closely with the Contracts team to reduce/ respond to claims.
There will be a small element of finalising the design with the contractor yet this shall be minimal.
Requirements
- Degree Qualified in Civil Engineering (or related subject)
- 10+ years of Rail project Experience
- Strong Station Construction Experience
- Previously Consultancy/ Construction Supervision experience.
- International Project Experience
- Contractor experience would be beneficial.
Compensation
- Salary: $8,000 - $12,000 tax-free per month
- Additional Allowances: Housing, transport, and other benefits provided
