Railway Stations Resident Engineer (Architectural) - Philippines
We are seeking an experienced Resident Engineer (Architectural) to join an international consultancy team delivering station construction works on a major Urban Rail project.
Based on site, you will play a key role in supervising architectural works for railway stations and supporting the Senior Resident Engineer in managing daily construction activities and stakeholder coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise architectural works for railway station construction to ensure compliance with design, specifications, and quality standards
- Support the Senior Resident Engineer in overall site management and coordination
- Lead day-to-day interface with the Contractor, ensuring works are delivered in line with programme and specifications
- Coordinate closely with multidisciplinary teams (civil, MEP, systems) to resolve interface issues
- Monitor construction progress and report on key milestones, risks, and issues
- Review and contribute to project correspondence, including preparation and review of formal letters
- Assist with contract administration, including understanding and applying contract requirements on site
- Support inspections, approvals, and quality assurance processes
Requirements
- Degree in Architecture or related discipline
- Proven experience in architectural works for railway/metro station projects
- Strong background in construction supervision / site-based roles
- Experience working for consultancies or on behalf of end clients on major infrastructure projects
- Ability to manage contractor interfaces and lead coordination activities
- Good understanding of contractual frameworks (ideally FIDIC) and project correspondence
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Previous international project experience is highly desirable
Salary Package:
The salary on offer for this position is around $6,000 to $8,000 per month with a full package including Flights, transport, insurance, per diem.
