Rail - Senior Contract Manager / Claims Expert (E&M, Track & Rolling Stock), Philippines
The market leading infrastructure recruitment specialist is seeking a highly experienced Contract Expert with a strong background Rail Systems (E&M, Rolling Stock and Track Systems) and claims for a major project in Philippines. Working on behalf of the end client the successful individual shall be joining an International on this ODA financed project.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and determine contractor claims and variations (time & cost)
- Interpret and administer FIDIC contracts, including determinations under Sub‑Clause 3.5
- Conduct forensic analysis and delay assessments (including concurrent delay)
- Prepare claims reports, contractual correspondence and recommendations
- Support Dispute Board proceedings and dispute resolution activities
- Liaise with technical, planning and cost teams and local stakeholders
Essential Experience
- Degree or higher in a relevant discipline
- 20+ years’ infrastructure experience, including 10+ years in railway projects
- Strong expertise in E&M, trackwork and rolling stock contracts
- Advanced working knowledge of FIDIC Yellow and Pink Books
- Proven claims, variations and disputes experience
Desirable
- CIArb or formal mediation/arbitration training
- Dispute Board experience
- Experience on MDB / donor‑funded projects
- Prior work experience in Asia or Southeast Asia
Language:
Fluency in English writing and communication
Salary Package:
The salary for this position will be circa $10-14,000 TAX FREE per month with an additional $3,000 per month for allowances.
