The Opportunity
A leading international consultancy has been awarded a major High-Speed Rail project in Vietnam and is seeking a Senior Signalling Expert to play a key role in its delivery.
This is a flagship infrastructure programme, offering the opportunity to contribute to a transformational rail scheme that will shape the future of transportation in the region.
You will be based in country, working closely with the end client in a high-impact, client-facing position with real influence over signalling design and implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership on signalling systems for a large-scale HSR project
- Act as a senior advisor to the client, supporting decision-making and delivery strategy
- Oversee design, integration, and implementation of ETCS Level 2 systems
- Ensure compliance with international standards and project requirements
- Support coordination across multidisciplinary rail systems teams
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Engineering or a related discipline
- 15–20+ years’ experience in railway signalling
- Proven experience delivering ETCS Level 2 on at least one High-Speed Rail project
- Strong background in systems integration, design, and project delivery
- International project experience is beneficial but not essential
