The market leading infrastructure recruitment specialist is supporting a leading consultancy with a major Rail/ Metro project in Philippines for which they are requiring an Architectural expert for the Station & Depot element.

Opportunity & Responsibilities:

My client is a major International consultancy firm who are working as part of a Joint Venture for this donor funded scheme.

Working as part of an international team the successful individual shall be join the General Consultancy handling a major package of works and be responsible for supervising and providing technical expertise for the stations and Depot component. Initially this will include the supervision/review of a number of redesigned facilities carried out by external consultants. The role will also include responsibilities during the construction phase and working closely with appointed contractors.

Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities of the role will be:

• Review the detailed engineering design, type and design of station and Depot architect works.
• Identify and instruct any necessary additional, revision, or amendments based on the contractor's design and work plans.
• In collaboration with the resident engineers, develop a program of site inspection plan for station architect works.
• Review the contractor's work plan and to identify the feasibility of their work method statements.
• Conduct site inspection of the work.
• Assist the Client on supervision of contractors.

Key requirements for the role:

• Bachelors Degree or higher in Civil or Architecture
• 15+ years of General working experience:
• 10+ years experience in design and construction of Railway Related Field
• Previous Rail/ Metro experience
• Ideally (1) railway project of size > USD 500 million
• Regional & Donor funded experience would be beneficial but not essential.

Salary Package:

The salary on offer for this position is around $10,000 - $13,000 per month tax free with additional allowances
