Section Engineer

Are you a Section Engineer with proven experience successfully delivering earthworks and drainage packages on a major project?

Location: Buckingham
Duration: 6 months (1-2 years' worth of work)
Rate: £400 - £450/day (depending on experience)
IR35: Inside via umbrella

Our client is a leading civil engineering contractor delivering works on HS2, and they are currently seeking a Site Engineer with strong earthworks, drainage or structures experience to join their team.

As a Section Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting construction operations on site, managing junior engineers, and ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification.

Key responsibilities include:
·Setting out and overseeing works to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications
·Managing and coordinating subcontractors
·Resolving technical issues in liaison with the senior engineering team
·Assisting with short-term planning, progress reporting, resource planning, and cost control
·Ensuring site teams have the correct and up-to-date information to carry out their duties

Requirements:
·HNC or degree in Civil Engineering.
·Proven Site Engineering experience on earthworks, drainage or structure packages.
·Strong setting out experience on ideally a major project.
