Senior Engineer

SITE ENGINEER – RAIL & INFRASTRUCTURE – BUCKINGHAMSHIRE – FREELANCE

Site Engineer required to join a huge infrastructure project in Buckinghamshire on a freelance basis. This contractor is currently undertaking work on a large-scale, complex infrastructure project and requires the services of a senior engineer to deliver a number of complex work packages. The ideal candidate will have a Civil Engineering degree, and previous experience of undertaking a Senior Site Engineer/Section Engineer role on a large infrastructure project.

Requirements:

• Degree Qualified in Civil Engineering
• Minimum of 3 years post qualified experience on Rail or civil infrastructure projects
• Experience of Civil Engineering in a Rail environment
• Setting Out and surveying skills
• Excellent track record on large scale rail & Metro projects
• Excellent communication skills

Duties:

• Setting out for Civils work in a Railway / Metro environment
• Completing all QA
• Assisting the Site agent and Site Management with Technical issues
• Managing sub-contractors
• Checking sub-contractors work
