Current Opportunity: Senior Quality Engineer
Location: Fort Dunlop
Role Responsibilities:
• Implement the BBV Way Quality Management System, which governs how BBV plan, manage and discharges its assurance obligations.
• Utilise systems and processes for the management and control of collated data and information which may further transform the quality and assurance of business activity.
• Support the Quality Manager and Regional Delivery/Quality teams to coordinate with the Customer and Supply Chain partners, to embed a ‘Right First Time’ Quality culture.
• Maintain and update Quality Procedures, ensuring regular reviews to keep them aligned with contractual and business requirements.
• Review subcontractor and supplier quality procedures and carry out audits of their Quality Management Systems where required.
Essential Experience:
• Experience in Civil Engineering Projects either delivery/design/quality on site disciplines
• Minimum 10 year-experience working on site and experience in Quality control including attending site and off-site inspections, reviewing technical/quality documentation, surveillance reporting, raising observations, and resolving complex issues.
• Qualified to Diploma level/Degree level in Civil Engineering (or similar discipline).
• Lead Auditor Qualification for ISO 9001.
• Experience managing quality and assurance in a complex multi-disciplinary environment.
• Proven knowledge/skill in data analysis.
• Confident in working with Senior Management and able to challenge existing working methods to support business improvement.
• Ability to build strong relationships with delivery teams and Project Managers and can influence effectively.
• Relevant Construction Industry experience.
