
Signalling Project Manager
Are you an experienced Project Manager with a signalling background and strong planning and commercial controls experience?
Could you take ownership of signalling projects within a London Underground environment, while leading and developing a team of APMs?
Rate: £440 - £463 (Umbrella)
Location: London
Duration: Initially 6 months with possible extensions
An opportunity is available for an experienced Project Manager to support London Underground signalling works, initially taking responsibility for a Signal Recovery project on the Central Line. The role will provide interim cover for an existing Project Manager before moving into a second project area to support planned medical leave.
You'll be responsible for delivering projects across time, cost, scope and quality, working within TfL's project management methodology and governance arrangements. The role has a strong focus on project planning, budgeting, cost control, programme and schedule management, project reporting, risk and issue management, and stakeholder coordination.
You'll also manage approximately 2-3 Assistant Project Managers (APMs), providing day-to-day direction as well as coaching and developing less experienced team members. Strong practical project management experience is the priority; a formal Project Management qualification is beneficial but not essential.
Key Requirements
·Proven experience as a Project Manager within rail / London Underground / TfL
