Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per year
Location: UK Based (Doncaster Office)
1stinrail (Part of the RSK Group) has an opportunity for an experienced Signalling Team Leader to join our growing signalling division.
This is a UK-based role aligned to our Doncaster office, with works primarily across the Midlands, Yorkshire, North East and the Peterborough to King’s Cross corridor. Office attendance is infrequent.
The Role
Reporting to the Signalling Project Lead, you will lead site teams delivering depot maintenance and project-based signalling works, including schemes for Network Rail. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on safe, compliant and high-quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead signalling teams on renewals, installations, maintenance and response works
• Ensure works are delivered safely, compliantly and to programme
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to technicians
• Ensure compliance with Network Rail and Group Standards
• Support audits, inspections and technical investigations
• Promote a strong safety culture on site
About You
• IRSE Licence or actively working towards CAC completion
• Strong signalling experience across renewals, installation or maintenance
• SMTH competence (essential)
• COSS or IWA (desirable)
• Full UK driving licence
• Organised, practical and confident leading teams
