Salary: £35,000 - £49,000 per annum DOE + £4000 car allowance

Role Overview:
My client is looking to appoint a Site Engineer to support the delivery of a major rail bridge replacement project in Havant.
The project involves the demolition and replacement of an existing pedestrian footbridge, including piling, reinforced concrete foundations, steel structure installation and associated civils works. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Site Engineer to gain exposure across a complete project lifecycle while working within a supportive and experienced delivery team.
The successful candidate will play a key role supporting the technical delivery of the project, carrying out setting out, managing quality assurance processes, maintaining site records and ensuring works are delivered to the required standards.
This role would suit a Site Engineer with up to three years' experience who is looking to continue developing their technical skills within a leading infrastructure contractor.
Key Responsibilities:
·Carry out setting out activities across the project using total station equipment
·Support the delivery of piling, foundations, structural works and associated civils activities
·Manage quality assurance documentation, inspection records and ITPs
·Maintain accurate site records, reports and project certification
·Support the Site Agent and wider project team with technical delivery
·Monitor works to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and project requirements
·Assist with planning and coordination of site activities
Essential requirements:
·Experience working as a Site Engineer within a rail, civils or infrastructure environment, ideally on bridges, structure or heavy civils
·Valid PTS certification
·Experience carrying out setting out duties
·Understanding of quality assurance processes and Inspection and Test Plans
·Ability to manage site documentation and technical records
·CSCS card
·Candidates local to the Portsmouth area are highly desirable
