Who we are
Network Rail High Speed Ltd. (NRHS) is responsible for operating and maintaining the UK’s only international high-speed railway (HS1) owned by London St. Pancras Highspeed.
The 109km London St. Pancras Highspeed infrastructure consists of a diverse range of railway assets such as the track, signalling, overhead line, lineside buildings, depots, viaducts and long tunnels. NRHS is also responsible for operating and maintaining three international stations; St Pancras, Stratford and Ebbsfleet International.
As a wholly owned subsidiary of Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd, NRHS is privately financed under an agreement with our client London St. Pancras Highspeed, undertaking a diverse range of activities from railway infrastructure maintenance and operations - through to station facilities management and retail on behalf of our client.

Brief Description
The role
To maintain Network Rail High Speed’s (NRHS) publishing processes to deliver standards documentation to internal and external clients and manage data relating to the standards and controls framework
Key accountabilities
- Maintain and update publishing Information Management and web-based solutions to provide continuous access for internal users and external suppliers to obtain essential NRHS documentation that guarantees consistent, safe, and coherent company-wide set of working practices.
- Provide expert advice, input and support associated with the governance of the Standards and controls publications processes to enable NRHS customers & suppliers to meet compliance targets.
- Monitor the inputs and outputs of the relevant team management systems/processes to enable analysis and continuous improvement and accurate information reports for associated Standards framework Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Maintain process arrangements for the revision and re-issue of NRHS Standards to provide new and current documentation online for customers.
- Support publication programme schedules and plans to promote the prompt publication and delivery of Standards and Control documentation and associated information both for the business and wider industry.
- Control individual projects to agreed time, cost and quality parameters so that process efficiencies and associated business benefits are delivered on a continuing basis.

About the role (External)
The person
Essential
- Good knowledge of best practice in document management systems and techniques.
- Experience in the development and maintenance of database solutions.
- Good working knowledge of KPI analysis (e.g. Power Bi)
- Good organisational administrative, and analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
- Experience of working in an environment where strong customer focus is vital for success.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good Interpersonal skills
Desirable
- Good knowledge of railway relevant legislation. the rail industry and Network Rail’s or NRHS organisation and processes.

The role is based at London Stratford Place, however frequent travel to our other office and site locations along the High Speed line is expected.

Drugs and Alcohol Standard
All prospective candidates who are offered a conditional role will be required to undergo and pass a drugs and alcohol test. Your application will be rescinded if you record a positive test.
