Technical Assessor / Auditor – Rolling Stock

We are supporting an international engineering consultancy seeking an experienced Technical Assessor / Auditor – Rolling Stock for an upcoming railway assignment in the Philippines.

The position will focus on the independent technical assessment, verification and validation of rolling stock and wider railway systems, with a particular requirement for experience working to Japanese JIS / MLIT standards.

Requirements

• Relevant engineering degree
• Minimum 15 years' overall professional experience
• Strong railway and rolling stock experience
• Professional qualification recognised in the Philippines or by an internationally recognised professional/accreditation body
• Must be a Professional Engineer in Japan in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or a Professional Railway Design Engineer in Vehicle Engineering
• At least 3 years' experience in design verification and practical management of rolling stock and other railway systems, or experience completing at least two railway V&V projects in accordance with JIS/MLIT Implementation Standards
