Account Manager

Our client is a leading train leasing company, leasing vehicles to all train operating companies in Britain. It has a long term commitment to the management of these assets and invests significantly in the maintenance and improvement of the wide range of vehicle classes that it owns.

The company has on-going activities in vehicle procurement and vehicle upgrade, refurbishment and repair in accordance with planned maintenance, developments in technology, new materials and designs.

Due to internal promotions and increased investments in their fleets, our client is recruiting for an Account Manager to be based in London or Derby. This role is responsible for relationships with a number of key Train Operating Companies throughout the country as well as the leadership of customer service delivery in support of these relationships.

The role will include the development and delivery of account strategies and coordination of a number of new initiatives, along with day to day relationship management activity. There will be involvement with a wide range of colleagues across the whole of the business as well as with suppliers and other key stakeholders.

It is likely that the successful candidate will be a graduate, or equivalent, with account management and commercial experience. In addition they will have financial, project management and strong interpersonal skills, together with good analytical and organisational capabilities. Clearly an appreciation of asset leasing and the structure of the railway industry will be helpful, and an engineering background would be an advantage.

Project Manager - Rolling Stock

London or Derby

Two Year FTC

Our client is one of Britain's leading train leasing companies. It has a long term commitment to the management of its assets and invests significantly in the maintenance and improvement of the wide range of vehicle classes that it owns.

Due to increased investment in its fleets, our client is recruiting for a Project Manager on a two year fixed-term contract - to be based in their London or Derby office. This role will deliver high-value, highly complex projects which may include refurbishment, re-engineering, reliability growth and retro-fit programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver complex high-value projects including refurbishments and re-engineering to the agreed specification, budget and quality;

Contribute to the financial success of the company through delivery of projects in line with approved budget;

Prepare and present project approval papers to the board;

Identify, understand and mitigate risks in projects;

Advise internal stakeholders on achievable project deliverables and timescales in response to customer requests for modifications / enhancements to fleets.

It is likely that the successful candidate will be chartered status (or working towards such status) and have rolling stock engineering knowledge. Candidates must have suitable project management experience ideally supported by qualifications such as APM / Prince 2 or similar.
