What’s New at RailwayPeople.com for Recruiters?
RailwayPeople.com has actively sought to improve and further enhance the experience of online recruitment.
We have made changes to the section for candidates to ensure ease of application for each job advertisement. Candidates will be able to browse through company information to gain a little background knowledge prior to seeking employment. On the new site candidates can load their CV, obviously including their personal contact details and a full career history, as an MS Word document. The ‘search’ option has been updated and improved.
RailwayPeople.com. has made significant changes to the recruiter section which will further improve your experience of online recruitment. You will be able to receive candidates MS Word CV’s and you are able to view the HTML version of the CV. This improvement will allow you to match employer criteria with the exact skills of the candidate. The Job Ad builder has been simplified saving you essential time! Use the improved search for candidates and you will be able to view individual profile details. We have created new solutions for the management of CV’s and the candidate information by enabling you to make online notes about each candidate. You can create an online folder system to store the CV’s and effectively manage your work load.

Important News; ‘Profile Only’ Candidates
From November 1st 2004 you will be unable to contact and view the profile of all shortlisted ‘Profile Only’ candidates. This is due to the improvements on the site enabling candidates to up load their CV as a MS Word document. Each candidate will have the option of setting their CV status to ‘live’, where all personal contact details are listed, or ‘not live’, if this is selected you will be unable to view their CV. Do ensure that you check your shortlists and contact any ‘Profile Only’ candidates before November 1st. Each candidate will be contacted and informed of recent improvements.
