Independent Legionella Services
Good housekeeping with water storage not only makes economical sense it will also minimise the risks associated with the bacteria legionella pneumophila.
On average 40 people die from exposure to legionella in the UK each year.
The HSE have set out guidelines (ACOP,L8, ‘The control of legionella bacteria in water systems’) The guidelines state that in order to comply with the associated legal duties, employers should:
- Identify and assess sources of risk
- Prepare a scheme for monitoring and controlling risks
- Implement, manage and monitor precautions

ASBESTOS AWARENESS TRAINING
This course is designed to increase the general awareness of asbestos within the working environment. Our asbestos awareness training is supported by the HSE and is particularly relevant to those who may come into contact with asbestos containing products during their working day.
Both standard and tailor made courses can be provided to any specifications. No pre-qualifications are required.
The primary course content typically includes the following :

- Working Safely with Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM’s)

- Legislation/Obligations
We provide certificates of attendance which can be used as part of your asbestos management file.
